Since September 2013,Brendan Cullinane the lad from Waterford who played with Garryowen and represented Munster at age group level has been a mainstay in the boiler house of Hawks and he has been some presence over four seasons on and off the pitch
Apart from his considerable efforts at the coal face on the pitch doing the hard yards amongst the piano shifters he has consistently endeavoured to improve the players dietary habits off pitch
This was not Brendan's first sporting endeavour in Glasgow as at junior level he had appeared in indoor athletics at that iconic venue the Kelvin Hall as a shot putter --Athletics loss was Rugby and Hawks gain
After Xmas the big lad along with his fiancée Sarah are moving to Australia to open the next chapter in their lives
It has been a great pleasure having Sarah and Brendan travel with us over past four seasons .Everybody at Hawks and Old Anniesland wish them both well in their new challenge and a huge thanks for all your efforts and friendship
